In Porta Romana, one of the most glamorous districts of Milan, Studio Martin Interiors has created a tailored and refined project in an early 1900s residence, developed on three levels.
Just cross the threshold of this abode to experience and taste the concept of the designers Claudio and Davide Martin, developed by mixing pieces of high craftsmanship with quality materials, in order to create a characterful environment, typical of the Milanese upper class.
At first glance, the furnishings from the Martin Interiors Collezioni line stand out: a series of pieces entirely based on the customization and craftsmanship of the product, where the leading star is the influence of styles between Art Deco and the early 1900s architecture.
An interesting mix that makes the path exclusive, by marking it and giving a pleasant feeling of welcome and charm.

The entrance was conceived with a floor made of green Alpi stoneware and travertine, which contrasts beautifully with the walls covered with wooden wainscoting, which matches the walls where the entrances of the various rooms are integrated, making the surfaces consistent and elegant.
A console with a large back-lit mirror stands out, giving depth to the environment; the same goes for the Art Deco chandelier which, like all the lighting elements of the house, is part of the Martin Interiors Objects collection.

Leaving the entrance behind, you reach an open space, which acts as a hallway to the living room with dark herringbone oak flooring, in contrast with the light colours of the walls.
You can admire the kitchen through the opening designed in a wall of the hallway area. To give depth and light to the kitchen space, there is a set of gold-coloured bevelled mirrors, which contrast with the black shade of the furnishings. From the living area, you can admire the entire height of the house.
The minimalist staircase was designed with different materials: glass, wood, and painted iron. A set of features marks the living area: the wall that boasts green Alpi stoneware with a marble effect, the light bouclé sofa, the coffee table/pouffe in biscuit-coloured leather, the white carpet, and the pleated velvet armchair in a light hue.

The master bathroom boasts a full-height cladding with shiny black diamond-cut brick tiles, while the other walls boast a different texture, in black-white stoneware with a marble effect.
The bathroom furnishings are black with gold leaf inserts – like the mirror –, and match with the brass wall lights.
In the master bedroom, wainscoting acts as a background to the bouclé upholstered bed, with gold leaf details at the base. Wherever you move, elegance and glamour are the leading stars of this intense project, which makes even everyday life lovely and enchanting.
