This commendable renovation revitalises and defines a new living arrangement derived from
a pre-existing building
Cingallegra is the name given to the villa: picturesque and melodious, much like the song of the small bird. The project bears the signature of Luca Rampazzi, an architect who has skilfully interpreted and met the clients’ needs by blending contemporary design, rhythm, material harmony, and expressive clarity to create a residence full of inspiration and charm.

The operation, which involved reorganising the living spaces and rationalising the volume, aims to highlight the relationship between exterior and interior, between built form and landscape.
At the heart of the project lies “the concept of the piazza”: all the new volumes have been arranged around the original floor plan of the old house, thus structuring and organising every external surface.

The new residential block is developed on several levels to accommodate living and sleeping areas, while the ancillary units – garage and pool pavilion – are distributed on a single floor. The garden has been thoroughly redesigned: a large raised terrace acts as a hinge between the house and the surrounding greenery.

The result is a complex building mass that combines respect for the pre-existing structure with the insertion of contemporary volumes and quality spaces.
