Immersed and isolated in the countryside of Ceglie Messapica, a characteristic Apulian village in the Itria Valley, this small house is completely surrounded by olive trees, while remaining a few steps from the beautiful town.
The entire Trullo Mood project was based on the idea of preserving the rural and bucolic atmosphere that surrounded it. Morphologically, the structure is composed of a main trullo with two other small volumes covered by barrel vaults, joined by a small external courtyard.

The interior features a living room and a kitchenette with a typically circular shape, flanked by two smaller volumes that house the main bedroom with the fireplace and the bathroom. A second bedroom with a very small en-suite bathroom is located on the opposite side of the trullo, also covered by a simple barrel vault, with an independent entrance and a small outdoor shower corner, overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside.

For the furnishings, they used a few accessories, purchased in the various antique markets which, every Sunday in summer, crowd the squares of some Apulian villages. The only surprising choice was the small but well-equipped steel kitchen placed inside the stone trullo.

The swimming pool was thus designed small as if it had always existed, a kind of drinking trough for the animals. To conclude, another small concrete space, with another stone bench near the western wall of the lamia , which this time houses the small cooking area made up of a hearth and a small hand-dug sink in Lecce stone, for outdoor summer dining.
