The shades of the ocean are reflected in the neutral colours that mark the spaces of this luxurious apartment, creating glimpses of refined elegance.
In South Beach, in Miami, this penthouse is located on the sixteenth floor and perfectly fits the description; the floors are covered with large marble slabs and the architecture of the interior spaces is airy but well-defined.

The interior designer Adam Cassino, with a studio in NYC, had previously worked with the same customers for a residence on the Upper East Side, NYC. Given the enthusiastic results, he was commissioned by the owners to work on the design of this apartment to make it more comfortable, elegant and contemporary.

Adam Cassino told us: “For this project, I did not work on a large scale and the spaces maintained their current layout. Since we didn’t want to take anything away from the view, it was decided to keep the blue of the ocean as the main colour, working on neutral and colder shades for the furnishings and objects.” The only exception is the children’s room, which differs from the other rooms due to the choice of covering the walls with stronger and brighter colours.

With the floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the perimeter of the entire apartment, the view envelops and amazes you throughout the day, especially after crossing the entrance area, deliberately designed in a beachy style. Once you cross the threshold, you are in an open space that includes the living room, dining area and kitchen, completely overlooking the ocean.
