A prime example of contemporary architecture, capable of combining aesthetics, sustainability, and comfort
Architects Antonella Sannino and Luigi Sagliocco, who reimagined the layout of this airy Neapolitan apartment, emphasised how “it was a priority to ensure that the most lived-in spaces of the day – living room, dining room, and kitchen – could enjoy the best views.”
Covering an area of approximately 250 square metres, this apartment was redesigned to meet the owners’ expectations: a living space that, in addition to shared areas, would include a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom for each family member.
In the living area, the flooring is made from large-format porcelain stoneware Cotto d’Este tiles. Elegant white leather sofas with silver-leaf detailed legs are positioned around the room.
The walls are painted in alabaster and rye tones, drawing the eye naturally towards the terrace, which opens onto a sweeping view of Naples. A tempered glass door separates the dining area from the kitchen, where bold black and white nuances create a striking optical contrast.
Murano glass mosaics, black Corian® countertops, and Carrara marble blend and alternate, highlighting the balance between the elegance and the practicality of the monolithic stainless-steel island.
Glamour and flair are expressed through references to the fabulous Seventies, perfectly balanced between Neapolitan hospitality and a renewed vision of contemporary comfort.
