A design approach capable of making a difference. Industrial design in close contact with production dynamics. Research and development for products designed to last over time.
Francesco Favaretto puts into play what he knows how to do, starting with his great intuition.
In other words, challenging conventions and dominant trends, while always maintaining a personal style. The goal? Research, circularity, sustainability, and durability in terms of products.

A must for Francesco Favaretto, CEO and creative director of FavarettoPartners, a company based in Padua with over 50 years of history.
The passion is that of the family, inherited from his father Paolo, founder of the studio, then made his own and directed towards a personal style. Eclecticism, on the other hand, is, as they say, his own making, a natural gift that is constantly evolving.

What was the turning point for the studio? “My father was one of the pioneers of industrial design, when, 50 years ago, there was no exact knowledge of what it really was. When I joined the studio in 2009, my winning card was understanding that the designer could no longer be conceived in the traditional sense as someone who creates an idea and simply presents it to the company. I understood that I had to put myself in the perspective of the industry itself.”

Where does your inclination towards foreign countries come from? “Foreign countries attract me a lot because foreigners are better able to recognize the value of our profession and still appreciate Made-in-Italy products so much. In general, however, I would like to underline that I am interested in industrial development. I love seeing my project realized, without any reverential fear for the brand, focusing only on the objective quality of the product.”

What are the products you are particularly proud of? “Instinctively, I would say Tondina and Fender. Tondina, for Infiniti Design, is a reinterpretation of the Olivetti chair: as a designer, it is precious to be able to reinterpret products we have already seen. Fender, for True design, is a complete collection of seats with an armchair, lounge chair, and sofa. I also recently designed for United Pets
a cute dog waterer named Elizabeth…”
