Nilufar is proud to present its Nilufar Open Edition, the gallery's first range of designer pieces.
Nilufar breaks boundaries: both from a geographical point of view, starting to move freely around the world and also outside the Milanese offices thanks to the sale of products Nilufar Open Edition in various stores, both for its offer, going beyond limited editions and unique and unrepeatable design objects.

Inaugurated in April 2023, each component of the Open Edition was curated and artistically directed by founder and owner Nina Yashar: over 80 pieces signed by some of the most compelling talents in the contemporary design scene.
Sofas, dining tables, rugs and lighting, conceived as “conversation pieces”. With a wide and unexpected range of colours, shapes, materials and finishesthe assortment Nilufar Open Edition adds a new language to the interior scene: in line with Nina Yashar’s distinctive taste, a language capable of defining the future course, intertwining notable elements of the past with significant elements of the present.

The Nilufar Open Edition is the result of close relationships between shared and sometimes contrasting visions, between design, craftsmanship and technology. Some of the gallery’s favorite designers, from all corners of the world, were selected by Yashar to develop pieces that spoke about themselves and the gallery at the same time.
The pieces of the Nilufar Open Edition are entirely developed and made in Italy, from the production phase and research of materials to the finishing touches, carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen.

“Over the course of my long career I have discovered talents, creations and visions. With everything the gallery has seen since 1979, it was time to put our stamp on a new adventure. These pieces are intrinsically imbued with the aura of their designers and the gallery, and can now be spread across the world,” says Nina Yashar.

Since 1979 Nilufar has been an innovative and cutting-edge presence in the world of design, fundamental for defining trends and habits. Nina Yashar works closely with established and emerging creatives from around the world to bring new pieces to life.
