- Name and surname? FeUSE.
- Nickname/stage name? FeUSE.
- Nationality? 100% Italian
- Place of birth? Italy.
- Place of living? The world.
- Age? Ageless.
- Single or in a relationship? A trio of women and I.
- Your studies? Technological, scientific, and creative.
- A brief introduction of yourself as designers/crafters/artists? I am a steel plant, precisely the electric furnace of a completely circular ZERO WASTE steel plant, the first carbon-neutral certified steel plant in the world, my steel waste is managed by the passion of three women. While the precious steel I produce turns into multiple technological objects with specific and innovative technical properties, only the laws of nature act on my waste… and here are the Corals…
- Artistic specialization? The processing of steel production waste.

- At what age did you start being a designer/ crafter/artist? Four months ago.
- How do you begin one of your works? Where steel processing ends, my works come to life.
- Does anyone else help you create your works, or do you do everything by yourself? I rely on three people, without whom my idea would not have had any life or meaning. And I’m delighted they are three women.
- How do you choose the name of your pieces? I chose the name Coral because my pieces also want to be a symbol to stir people’s consciences on the disappearance of marine corals, due to the rising temperature of the seas, produced by climate change.
- In your projects, what other languages does your design dialogue with? e.g., painting, sculpture, graphics, digital works… Art and Technology, but above all Nature.

- How would you place your works in a house/office/hotel? I imagine my largest pieces, which are also very rare, inside large and light-flooded beach houses, where the red of a Coral stands out, capable of moving those who observe it. Calling to mind the power of the sea and the wonderful treasures it hides: powerful, and important for the life of other beings. Very fragile, however, that must be protected. Just like corals.
- Do you have any of your works at home? Yes of course, and also in the home of many, many friends. I love that my creations are a gift that donates beauty and awareness to people.
- If you had the chance to place one of your pieces in a public or private place/home/location, what would it be? In Saint Peter’s; I would like to create objects that show the power of steel in relation to that of Faith; the waste of steel, because the humblest, the last are the first in the heart of the Lord; the red colour for the Passion of Jesus to save the world; the coral for the immense – but at the same time fragile – beauty of Mankind and Nature.

- What is the most beautiful house you have ever seen? The ones where my pieces will be. Each house has its own beauty, told by its residents. I like that my works can be part of that story.
- A work created by another designer that you would have liked to do? The Eiffel Tower.
- A designer you wish could create one of your pieces? Arnaldo and Giò Pomodoro.
- If you weren’t a designer/ crafter/artist, what would you do? I would be a lawyer, a biologist, a businessman.
- What designer/crafter/ artist (even from the past) would you like to know? Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier.

- An anecdote with Rossana that you will never forget? When I lit the Coral Christmas Tree with her in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, Rome: the beauty of this tree was the result of a work mostly made of passion. And then, that day there was joy, happiness and serenity. I am very proud that my tree was the reason for all of this.
- Your favourite city? Rome, the cradle of eternal art.
- A trip that you would like to take? To Atlantis.
- A trip you never wanted to take? To landfills.
- What’s something nobody has ever asked you, but you wish someone did? Why?
