The Mediterraneo hotel is placed on the Sorrento coast and has 61 rooms, including 4 junior suites and 2 family rooms. It dates back to 1912 and is located in one of the most spectacular spots in Italy.

The Mediterraneo hotel in Sant’Agnello, near Sorrento, is a refined example of Italian Art Nouveau, which underwent a thorough renovation in 2021 by the London-based architectural firm THDP.
The moving spirit behind the concept is architect Manuela Mannino, who managed the design, the arrangement, the opening and the market launch, thus making the Sorrento structure shine in the firmament of the five-star hotel industry.
A very successful operation. As far as the interiors are concerned, the professional immediately opted for a refined and original design: a total immersion in the territory.
The rooms and the shared areas, as well as the restaurant and the wellness area, have the tops of the tables and bedside tables in Vesuvian lava; the parquet floorscall to mind the wooden stilt houses built on the sea, and the wall lights recall the fishing light attractors used during the offshore night outings.
Furthermore, the profiles and decorations of the wardrobes are in brass, a noble metal whose processing has its roots in the Neapolitan tradition.
The liveliness and the vivacity of the pitch-perfect colour combination of white and turquoise –repeated and cadenced from the lobby to the rooms – create hospitality and harmony, especially for a seaside location.
The arrangement of spaces complies with the building’s early 20th-century stylistic layout and is an ode to functionality. The furnishings are a skilful and calibrated mix of tailor-made pieces and customized accessories.
