The bold renovation of an apartment within a historic building in Brera, Milan’s most vibrant and glamorous district.
The new living design and furniture layout involved a two-level penthouse, overlooking a typical internal courtyard of central Milan.
The apartment was completely transformed to create an open-plan living area, not only for maximum personal comfort, but also to organise spaces for socialising and conviviality.
To experience the home in all its aspects, the new layout includes: firstly, a spacious and bright living area with a reading corner and a wine cellar, placed next to the dining area with a long table; secondly, some dedicated spaces such as a studio, a gym, and a small spa; and thirdly, a guest bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
The project also placed particular emphasis on achieving an optimal level of home automation technology for the complete control of the various systems.
The renovation ensured meticulous attention to lighting design and the consistent use of high-quality materials.
