A delicate rebirth

In a villa on Lake Garda, an elegant and fresh makeover mixes and combines subtle simplicity with refined and intimate customization.

Located in Manerba, in a panoramic position on the western side of the hills overlooking Lake Garda, a villa with new owners has been renovated and revisited according to the ideas and design proposed to the customers by the interior designers of Casa&Giardino_Design.

The house, organized on three levels and surrounded by a large garden with a swimming pool,acquires new vitality and personality through an elegant decoration, never too refined, which favours warm, bright and light tones – such as ivory, powder pink, and sand – and through some solutions suggested by the interior designers,such as the renovation of the parapet of the internal staircase and the glass balustrade on the terrace facing the lake.

The winding staircase, which has now become an important catalyst for the entire living area, stems from the simple replacement of the pre-existing iron railing with a plasterboard protective wall, which, like a flexible ribbon, winds up to the upper floor, where we find the private master area.

The renovation then involved all the coverings and finishes, therefore both the soft and matching painting of the rooms – sometimes also embellished with wallpaper –, the customization of the bathrooms and the installation of light wood parquet.

On the ground floor, the bright living space – re-proposed as an open space and divided into a living room, an elegant dining area with table, chairs and practical cupboard, and a kitchen with an L-shaped layout and island – is completed with a refined hanging wood-burning fireplace, accompanied by a comfortable reading chair.

Finally, the villa expands into the large porch in front of the swimming pool, an appropriate summer lounge for relaxing moments of conviviality and intimacy.
