Elegance and sustainability, in the renovation of a flat on several levels, inside an ancient building in Verona.

Near Piazza delle Erbe, a flat was recently renovated by IM.COS Maison, according to the owner’s needs and through the most advanced techniques and technologies of sustainability and environmental comfort.

The makeover designed and created by architect Mario Bellavite, supported in the interior design by the interior designers of MODO+, stands out not only for the refinement of the new appearance of the house, but also and above all for the green redevelopment of the structures and environments. Volumes and accessories are placed in optimal living contexts, for which the renovation has also received Biosafe certification.

In this home, the various works by IM.COS Maison guarantee maximum comfort through the thickness of the perimeter insulation made with hemp, the advanced heating system for continuous air exchange and filtration, and the scrupulous use of natural materials.

Every room was designed by Studio Arcade of architect Mario Bellavite. The property is spread over several levels, according to the direction given by the original staircase – in Prun stone with a wrought iron parapet –, which winds in the centre of the small entrance. From here, on one side, you go down to the sleeping area, on the other, you reach the living area, organized on a splendid roof terrace, with another small terrace and a panoramic view over the roofs. You enter the sleeping area through portals covered in burnished brass.

Upstairs, the living room shares the large open space with the kitchen: everything is refined and well-studied, from the furnishings to the finishes, up to the soft curtains that adorn the large windows. The small terrace is an adorable alcove to retreat to.
