A two-bedroom loft as the main residence of a young American model, Maya Henry, ex-girlfriend of Liam Payne, member of the English-Irish band One Direction, in the heart of London’s West End.
Henry rented the apartment in Park House, a modern nine-storey building designed by Apt (formerly Robin Partington Architects), located opposite Selfridges, the department store on Oxford Street.
The apartment was renovated by interior designer Lucinda Loya, giving a feminine, timeless and contemporary touch as requested by the Houston top model. The space had to reflect the owner’s personality: elegant, modern and glamorous.
Lucinda played on the use of colors and pieces of furniture. In the living room there are two swivel armchairs with pink fringes that catch your attention as soon as you enter the house, next to a teal sofa. The living room is considered the main space of the house, which however communicates with the other rooms in perfect continuity.
The kitchen, dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms share the same lively panache as the living room, giving Henry an environment to suit his style.
The owner’s favorite piece? Obviously the pair of pink armchairs “They give me joy, when you move, the fringe dances with you, the same joy that Lucinda Loya transmits to me. She is my go-to stylist. She is energetic, always happy and eager to please. She can read my mind!”
