On the hills of Bergamo, a recently-built villa shows off and interprets the personal and eclectic tastes of its young owners, in a modern synthesis with a vintage flavour
Knowing how to express likes and dislikes according to one’s personality and sensitivity is synonymous with awareness and knowledge of one’s self.
It also means freedom of choice and a continuous search for a distinctive style, out of anonymity. This was the starting point to define the interior design of a villa in the hills, entrusted to Bonomelli Arredamenti’s staff.
Aware of their own eclectic tastes, a little modern, a little country and even a bit vintage, the owners of this new housing unit asked the interior designers to interpret their wishes and needs in a stylistic way.

The design solution hit the target, proposing a modern synthesis with a vintage flavour: volumes, furnishings and details coexist in well-organized spaces and minimal compositions, matching through a dominant colour.
The general mood and the chromatic appearance immediately show up in the open living area, where, on the one hand, the golden sofa heralds the reference to the privileged mustard hue, while on the other, the console table and the large frame leaning against the wall define a focus on particular objects and unique pieces.

The convivial area – designed as an open space – stretches from the living room to the dining area and the kitchen space, also developing outside beyond the windows, in a covered patio overlooking the garden.
The setting is marked by a balanced harmony, achieved by the orderly arrangement of the furnishings and by the sought-after stylistic references: the rustic dining table – designed by the landlord – matches with the shelves on the wall, the straw lamp and the outdoor table, while the modern kitchen features timeless vintage appliances.

The creative streak of the landlord also explains the modern and eclectic taste of the sleeping area, where a pair of wooden bedside tables frames the bed, embellished with mustard-coloured fabrics.
The compositional modernity, in turn, marks the master areas, not only in the walk-in closet built behind the bed but also in the custom-designed bathroom ca-binet with a resin-effect HPL shelf, as well as in the nearby and practical laundry, highlighted by wo-od-effect elements.
