Among the high peaks of the Aosta Valley, stands this home, designed and customized by Far Arreda.
A mountainous landscape, made up of high promontories and sumptuous peaks, in the territory of the Aosta Valley, land of the Alps.
We find this newly-built house with a terrace, located on the top floor of a residence. The project was entirely followed by Far Arreda.

The owners, a family with three children, wanted an elegant and welcoming holiday home, where they could retreat far from stress and everyday life. The Brescia-based company, therefore, masterfully created a home with a warm heart, mainly characterized by the use of solid reclaimed fir wood.

From the entrance, the light blazes throughout the room and colours every element with brightness, thanks to the large windows that overlook the snow-capped mountains.
The open-space living area stands out for its originality and modernity. The living room – consisting of two teddy chairs, a pouffe with soft lines, and a grey fabric sofa – is an enveloping corner.

The kitchen creates bold contrasts: solid wood is combined with stoneware, which covers part of the working area and the island, both lacquered in graphite grey. The wardrobes blend in with all the surfaces of the house, in a perfect tone-on-tone combination.
Behind the living area, beyond the bookcase with minimal shelves, a structural part of the house rises, specially designed by Far Arreda and covered with wallpaper, which evokes the flora and fauna of the forest. The technical and light staircase frames the structure and leads to the mezzanine: a relaxation area that dominates the entire living area.
