The tale of well-being told by the Mair family.

Endless expanses of forests, blue skies overlooking the Seiser Alm and an extraordinary feeling of peace and silence: the picturesque village of Völs am Schlern is a mountain paradise crossed by the most beautiful hiking routes in South Tyrol.

Four hundred kilometres of paths between mountain huts, pastures, streams, and breathtaking views that open up to the majesty of the surrounding valleys. Right in front of this natural theatre, like a terrace perched in front of a stage, stands the Gfell Hotel, a design jewel hanging between earth and sky.
Seventeen rooms and suites with spectacular views, equipped with every comfort and made with quality materials with a reference to the chromatism of the tree elements that harmoniously link the inside and the outside.

The structure is partially underground and follows the slope of the land: the result is a discreet architecture that perfectly fits into the surrounding environment.
Nature is also present in the relaxing wellness area, a retreat for body and mind that provides tranquillity and regeneration. The panoramic sauna offers an unparalleled view of the mountains, as does the alpine garden.
The relaxation room is illuminated by large windows and equipped with comfortable wooden-covered loungers. Here, you can let your gaze wander undisturbed, indulging in the magic of the landscape: in summer, infinite shades of green, in winter, the treetops covered in snow.

The flagship of the Gfell Hotel is undoubtedly the Schönblick restaurant, renowned and appreciated thanks to its excellent culinary offer and the highest level of service. Here, chef Andreas Mair celebrates the South Tyrolean region and the Alpine valleys with a careful selection of raw materials.

This is the history and daily commitment of a family rooted in its origins, capable of conveying the value of hospitality and grasping teaching and inspiration from nature.
