Ostiliomobili implemented the project of two twin sisters: living in a single building but in two separate flats, similar in the layout of spaces and style, but different in taste and personality.
If it is true that “dreams are wishes”, here is one fulfilled by ostiliomobili for two twin sisters, who saw their shared house project become reality.
The special and unique relationship that binds two twins, in this design story, turns into the wish to share spaces, even as adults. Two separate flats but under the same roof, two environments linked by the same minimal design, but marked by different style details. Luisa and Valentina: two personalities compared.

The house is located in the Franciacorta area; built from scratch, it houses the flats on different floors, connected by a lift. They share the layout and distribution of spaces, together with the choice of a current design style. What makes the difference is the taste and personality that can be seen in the details, colours and character of the furnishings, making each flat dual in its form but with unique content.
The environments are large and airy: the open-space living area develops in a modern and sophisticated setting, including the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. An elegant built-in fireplace stands out in front of the sofa, creating an enveloping and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for evenings accompanied by a drink, a book and good music. Not far away, we find the high-impact dining table.

Therefore, both sisters opt for shared design elements which, however, stand out for their chromatic choices. Valentina is guided by darker colours and leather-coloured details, and Luisa opts for lighter shades and touches of blue. One prefers a more intimate mood that embraces the earth tones, the other is surrounded by bright and cerulean atmospheres.

In both kitchens, marked by functional design choices, we can see the aesthetic guidelines set out by the two different personalities. The same also applies to the bathroom environments: similar layout of spaces and materials but, as in a yin-yang game, we find contrasting light and dark shades.
In the double bedrooms, the differentiating element is the wallpaper: Valentina chooses an abstract design with golden details, and Luisa relies on the sweetness of the kiss of Cupid and Psyche.
