A new series of artworks inspired by Gris Dior.

Digital artist and designer Andrés Reisinger collaborates with Maison Dior on a new series of commissioned digital artworks and on the art direction of the digital platform Gris Dior Gallery: both are inspired by Gris Dior, the leading fragrance from La Collection Privée Christian Dior.
The new artworks were unveiled at a pop-up art gallery in Los Angeles with the exhibition “Dare in Gris Dior – The Grey Zone”, earlier in April. On this occasion, the new digital platform Gris Dior Gallery, an environment art-directed by Reisinger and home to the digital artworks, was also unveiled.
Reisinger’s work reflects the Maison’s ethos, and complements the olfactory enchantment of Gris Dior’s scent with an enveloping experience.

Both the favourite colour of the House on Avenue Montaigne and the multifaceted fragrance, Gris Dior has served as the main inspiration for Reisinger’s new work.
The Gris Dior digital gallery and the accompanying series of artworks were both inspired by the founding values of Gris Dior, and continue Reisinger’s journey into the creation of new experiential possibilities of “Digital Art Collectibles”.
For the Gris Dior Gallery, Reisinger was invited to depict the present and future of Dior Beauty and translate it into a digital garden ofEden. He has art directed an ethereal mood that conveys the eternal legacy of the Maison by interpreting Christian Dior’s passion for gardens and flowers, while nodding to the boldness embodied by Gris Dior.

The artist has transported the grace, bountifulness, enchantment of flowers, qualities that apply just as much to the House of Dior, into the digital realm, giving life to a pink-hued, metaphysical architectural world made of dreamlike virtual blooms.
In the environment, several portals each give access to different realms dominated by Reisinger’s new digital artworks. All inspired by the fragrance Gris Dior, the new artworks portray the intense, strong and statement spirit of the scent and of its signature colour, grey; one that defies genders, one that invites the definition of personal and singular rules, one that merges tradition with modernity, one that is gracefully nuanced and complex.
As with much of Reisinger’s work, the processes of nature serve as a direct inspiration for the creation of his digital artworks. The new art pieces have been inspired by the mechanisms of pollination, with each of them conceived starting from the careful analysis of Gris Dior.

Every artwork embodies an aura that assembles, through shapes, textures and colours, the notes of Gris Dior, thus inviting the user to imagine the aroma evoked by the artpiece.
The creations feature Reisinger’s instantly recognizable ethereal and soothing signature touch, made of organic silhouettes, Reisinger Pink and enchanting but delicate movements; aesthetic values that are also associated with Dior’s world.
“How do you interpret the present and future of a world like Dior? How do you interpret time, for a world that is so everlasting and atemporal? F lowers have been, are, and will forever be part of our collective imagination, accompanying and rendering more gracious our daily lives by simply being.
I fused my understanding of Dior’s perfumes with my affection for flowers in an experience that could portray values that I recognize in both: grace, movement, bountifulness.

The Gris Dior scent was pivotal as it sheds light on a different spirit of the Maison: a strong invitation to embrace the beauty of nuances, of something that is and should remain undefined, a bold statement that encourages fluidity, ambiguity, adaptability in a constant process of discovery.
An attitude that has also always informed my creative approach. This is why I am delighted to partake in this journey with Dior, as it ventures into the web3 space and contributes to its development with unique skills and perspectives.
The participation of players like the Maison holds the key to unlocking new possibilities for innovation, creativity, and value creation, driving the web3 space into its full potential.
Dior’s presence represents a critical step forward; I am proud to be collaborating with the Maison, and excited to witness the future of this industry shaping”. declares Reisinger.
